Meet The Owner & Accountant
I started the company Nicola Yale Bookkeeping Services one night in August 2020 and by the end of that week I had a desk in my living room, drafted a logo and made a basic website. From there the company has grown and evolved into what you see now!
I hold a bachelors degree in accounting as well as MAAT with AAT. I specialise in the construction industry from experience, however our clients now range from cleaning companies to coffee shops to doctors and copy writers.

Meet The Accountant
Laura joined the team in February 2024, She is the one completing self assessments, taking care of the bookkeeping and doing all things accounting! She also completes the VAT returns.
Laura has achieved her First Class Honours degree in Accounting and is also a MAAT member with AAT.
Laura also takes care of our client consultations and works closely with several local charities and trusts.

Meet The Admin Assistant
Lyndsay joined the team in May 2024, She is the one greeting you as you come into the office, booking in all the meetings and keeping us all organised!
You will generally find her in the office answering all your queries. Lyndsay is also involved in our client onboarding process.
Lyndsay is currently undertaking her Level 1 in Bookkeeping also.

Kyran
The Apprentice
Kyran came to Valorem on work experience from the local high school. Kyran is now continuing his journey with us 2 days a week shadowing our accountants.
We are very excited to see Kyran progress as he has a very bright future ahead.
Where Can You Find Us?
Our office is based at 80 Main Street, Alexandria, close to Alexandria Train Station and only 40mins from Glasgow by car. Parking can be found at Gilmour Street and is only a short walk from the front of the office.
We are proud to have built a safe space where clients can come and feel at home when discussing their companies finances
